DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT

Arc of View is a Western-made VR180° film that turns campus space into both stage and collaborator. Working among sculptures, stairwells, and natural elements, the performer tests how the body reads its surroundings. The hemispherical format widens the scene without gimmick, inviting audiences to set their own focal path. Frames arise from physical features rather than edits; the cut becomes a shift of attention. In this spare, grounded study, movement measures place, and place shapes the dance. This piece sits as a movement-led spatial essay, asking how the textures of everyday environment can anchor vision, making the near wide and the wide near.
